Q: How are Volunteers Reimbursed? A: After the volunteer has completed the purchase of the groceries, the volunteer will send a photo of the receipt to the recipient and will be reimbursed by cash left in an envelope on the front-porch of the recipient or through Venmo.
Q: How do I request for grocery delivery? A: We require that the request form be filled out 24 hours prior to delivery date. After the request form has been completed we will match you with a volunteer nearby who will then contact you through text or email to confirm the delivery.
Q: What services are provided? A: Claremont Fresh provides grocery delivery from local grocery stores. We also deliver daily use items such as toiletries, and basic cleaning supplies. If needed, you can also request for the delivery of non-prescription medications as well. We do not do delivery or pick up from restaurants, gas stations, small drugstores or other such stores that are not intended to be grocery stores.
Q: Can I request for delivery if I do not live in Claremont? A: Yes, we have expanded past Claremont now! Q: Are the services provided by Claremont Fresh free? A: Yes we are a non profit organization fully run by volunteers. There are no extra payments except for the balance on the receipt of your grocery purchase, that must be payed to your volunteer.
